Baylor Uganda believes in a shared approach to addressing disparities in health care in Uganda and African as a whole. For sustainable and impactful initiatives on the quality of life among the people we serve, partnerships have been one of the key drivers in all our projects. Our partnerships and collaborations are hinged on core values of; Care, Integrity, innovation and excellence. We have worked with a wide scope of entities including; local and international organisations as well as government institutions. Community based organisations (CBOs) including People living with HIV (PLHIV) have been at the heart of our community led HIV/AIDS initiatives. We believe in implementing local solutions for local challenges and more so implemented with the local people that are more affected by these challenges. Additionally, we have for the last 15 years worked with a number of international organisations/ networks. Most of these have funded a significant proportion of both our program and research initiatives ranging from increasing access to anti-retroviral therapy (ART) among PLHIV, improving the quality of life for orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) to contributing to new knowledge/ evidence ranging from long acting injectable HIV drugs, more efficacious ART regimens for children and adolescents to HIV and Covid-19 vaccines among others. Below are both our different partners/sponsors we have/still working with.
