Sarah Mungurek 22, lives on Walukuba island in Lake Albert, Buliisa District. Sarah used to be a fish monger, a life that was making her more vulnerable. She was lucky to be enrolled on the project under NFM2 and was taken through vocational training in hair dressing. After mastering skill in hair dressing, Sarah started her own salon in her hometown where she earns a minimum of UGX 30,000 a day. She has so far trained and employed three girls to support her on busy days. Sarah saves UGX 20,000- 50,000 every week and hopes to enlarge her salon before getting married.
