Prof. Rhoda Wanyenze
Board Chairperson
Dr. Rhoda Wanyenze, MBChB, MPH, PhD, is Dean of the School of Public Health and a Professor in the Department of Disease Control and Environmental Health at Makerere University. Dr. Wanyenze has vast experience in public health research, capacity building, and program management, especially in infectious diseases, sexual and reproductive health, and health systems. Dr. Wanyenze has led a wide network of research partnerships with academic institutions and ministries of health in Africa. She has served on Boards of several organizations in Uganda and globally. She is a Fellow of the Uganda National Academy of Sciences.

Before diversifying into accounting, Joseph practiced as an educationist for 8 years. Joseph is now a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience. He has worked as an Auditor, Financial management consultant and in-house trainer for many organisations in the public, private and NGO sectors. Joseph is the managing partner of KIZZA & CO. a public accountancy practice in Uganda. Joseph is currently building his knowledge base for civil works and aspires to become a specialist auditor for civil works.
In terms of discharging oversight responsibilities, Joseph is a member of the sector audit committee of the Justice, Law and Order Sector of the Government of Uganda (JLOS). Under JLOS, oversight is discharged to all Ministries and Government agencies in the docket of Justice, Law and Order including: Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Uganda Police Force, Uganda Peoples Defense Forces, Uganda Prisons, Uganda Law Reform Commission, Judicial Service Commission, Judiciary, Uganda Human Rights Commission, Uganda Registration Services Bureau, Directorate of Immigration, Law Development Center, among others.
Joseph is also a Board member of Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation-Uganda where he chairs the Audit Committee of the Board.

and conceptual thinker, she is able to use a variety of HR conceptual frameworks to analyse and address challenging HR issues. As Senior Human Resources professional; she has both hands on experience and strategic exposure in Management of Organisations and Human Resources in particular
in the private, public and NGO sectors.
Harriet Omoding has over 25 years of practical experience in Human Resource Management, Human Resource development, HR analytics, corporate governance, diversity and inclusion promotion, employee voice, employment
law, learning development, performance management, organization design and
development, job quality, reward strategy, skills development, technology, wellbeing, workforce trends to mention but a few. She also boasts of project management experience acquired while delivering various development projects as Human Resources Specialist one of them being the “Talent Management Programme in Uganda”. With Skills in client and customer services delivery in an international setting she has proven experience in a
shared service centre in international organizations like Stanbic Bank, Fina
Bank and many others.
Harriet Omoding has broad experience in coordination and management of
client, government and donor relations at administrative, operational, managerial, strategic, and political levels.
She is proficient in logistical management, supply chain, administration, operations coordination, and procurement, a Solid track record in organizational change, policy and strategy development and is also quite
Skilled in delivery of trainings and capacity building activities as well as in providing mentorship to staff. Harriet has Strong team leadership abilities, and
uses new and innovative ways to lead successfully.
She possesses excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. She often demonstrates the ability to maintain effective working relationships both as a team member and team leader.
